What to expect on your first visit to NewLife Fertility Centre?

It would be best if you come with your partner for the first visit so that both of you meet the nurses and the doctor and get familiar with the process.

You will seen by the reception and will be asked to fill a form with your personal information. This information is confidential and it is important for us to serve you.

Information like your telephone number and pharmacy number are needed in case we have to contact you or phone a prescription.

You will see the nurse to take some information on your specific health problem and if needed she will do pap test and swabs.

You will see the doctor and have a review of your history and previous tests and if needed examine you and your partner. It would be useful to have all previous tests with you on your visit. If you have had evaluation done before, a plan of treatment is outlined in the first visit. If you have not, several tests are done before a decision is made regarding treatment.

All treatment options are discussed with you and explained to you several times. It is useful to educate yourself as much as possible on these treatments and prepare questions for the doctor and the nurse to answer.

Our job is to recommend a treatment plan and explain to you the risks and benefits. Our aim is to achieve a healthy pregnancy in the shortest time frame and the lowest risk to you.
