Infertility can be caused by a number of factors, often there are
more than one diagnosis. Although it is important to reach an
accurate diagnosis, in 20% of patients unexplained infertility is
diagnosed after the initial tests are done. Sometimes the ultimate
diagnosis in these patients is only reached when IVF is
done.
